• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate resident care activities within approved policies and procedures.
• Ensure residents' care is evaluated continuously.
• Work closely with the Registered Staff team and the RAI‑MDS Coordinator to ensure that the appropriate documentation is in place as per policy and to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Review and audit Point Click Care documentation including progress notes, care plans, and resident assessments.
• Audit resident care plans on a quarterly basis and ensure documentation accurately reflects the resident’s care requirements.
• Respond to resident or family concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken within decision‑making authority and/or bring them to the attention of the Director of Care.

• Sound knowledge and background in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long‑term care nursing, including activation, nursing, and personnel administration.
• Knowledge of The Nursing Homes Act and Regulations, Homes for Special Care Act, Extended Care Program Directives, The Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food & Drugs Act (Canada), Narcotic Control Act (Canada), and other pertinent federal, provincial, and municipal statutes.
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Post‑graduate studies in nursing, nursing administration, and geriatrics is considered an asset.
• Canadian work experience is not required.
