A Snapshot of Your Day
Perform hands-on mechanical service and maintenance of gas turbine packages primarily in Canada, and additionally in the USA, occasionally globally, ensuring all work is completed according to contracts and deadlines. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and gathering information to ensure smooth handover of SGT products to customers. Organize and execute and coordinate onsite service of maintenance tasks to meet customer requirements, bring packages into operation, and secure customer acceptance.
Collaborate with Project and Engineering teams to receive comprehensive commercial briefings before mobilizing to site.
Capable of conducting and supervising mechanical elements of the Gas Turbine Inspection Schedule, such as visual checks, borescope inspections, filter replacements, and valve servicing—including returning equipment to service. You will also perform hands-on mechanical work of gas turbine core changes.

Managing and coordinating mechanical activities in accordance with correct standards and procedures.Perform “Hands on” mechanical duties in both an individual and team settingMaintain an accurate record of activity carried out on site – Produce written reportsCarry out and/or supervise numerous testing procedures on all installed equipmentEnsure all environmental health and safety regulations are upheld during maintenance activities.Carry out troubleshooting and be able to take instruction from Helpdesk or higher technical authority as required.Ability to work on offshore vessels and platformsWhat You Bring
Qualified Red Seal trades certification or equivalent.Familiar with strip/rebuild of rotating mechanical equipment and function of associated systems.Familiar with control system navigation & basic functions (ideal).Working experience on the SGT
100 to 400 range of product (ideal).Familiar with laser alignment technologyFamiliar with using precision measuring instruments (Micrometres)Ability to work independently with tooling and lift up to 25kg
