A well-established manufacturing organization is looking for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join their finance team. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Oakville, offering a collaborative and process-driven environment.
Your new role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Your day-to-day will include processing invoices, performing reconciliations, managing vendor and customer setups, and ensuring timely payments and collections. You’ll also handle 3-way matching for inventory, monitor purchase orderpliance, and support month-end close activities. The role requires regular interaction with internal teams and external vendors/customers to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records using an ERP system.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role

Proficiency with ERP systems

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

A proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of accuracy

The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

What you'll get in return

Base salary of $55,000–$65,000
