How You'll Make An ImpactDispatch Health is actively hiring Medical Technicians to join our growing clinical team servicing the Northern Virginia, VA area. We are looking for energetic, hard‑working individuals with strong organizational and customer service skills to work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified mobile laboratory. This individual will be directly involved in daily patient care while gaining valuable experience on an ongoing basis.
Extensive on‑the‑job training will be provided for this exciting opportunity in mobile healthcare.

Shifts:
10‑hour shifts - Work‑Life Balance: 3‑4 shifts per week, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

- Holds an EMT‑B, AEMT, or CCMA certification
- BLS & CPR certified
- Ready to represent the company with a company vehicle provided for your use
- Work under supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
- Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
- IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
- Splint application
- Wound care
- Operate and maintain point‑of‑care laboratory equipment (calibration and maintenance)
- Perform EKGs
- Assist NP/PAs in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit
- Documentation
- Supply and stocking
- Medical Technician with IV Certification
- Basic Certification with VA EMT License (hiring credential only)
- Bachelor’s degree in a core science or lab science and minimum of 2 years experience in chemistry and hematology (especially with i‑STAT device) encouraged
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- BLS, American Heart Association
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; we cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
