About the role:

This role supports a large, multi-year federal contract with the Office of Head Start focused on improving how critical information is shared with families, educators, and community partners nationwide. The work is fast-paced but structured, with clear priorities, established processes, and a strong emphasis on quality and accessibility.

Success in this role means delivering clear, engaging, and accessible video content on a consistent cadence; collaborating effectively with content strategists, designers, and subject-matter experts; and reliably meeting deadlines in a highly collaborative, compliance-driven environment. Attention to detail, comfort working within defined standards, and a passion for making complex information easy to understand are key to thriving on this project.

This is a full-time position contingent on contract award by our client, with a defined performance period of one year with four one-year option periods. The salary range for this role is $68,000 – $73,000. In the spirit of transparency, most offers tend to land near the midpoint of the range. • Edit and produce short- and long-form video content for websites, social media, email campaigns, and digital learning resources.
• Edit webinar recordings and virtual events, ensuring fast turnaround and high production quality.
• Collaborate with content strategists, designers, and subject‑matter experts to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual stories.
• Develop storyboards and scripts to guide the production process.
• Develop basic motion graphics, title cards, and visual treatments to support storytelling.
• Ensure all video content meets Section 508 accessibility standards, including captions, readable on‑screen text, and audio clarity.
