Automotive Alignment Technicians

Overview

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician for the Oakton, VA area. With over 2,000 locations, Mavis is a large tire sales and automotive repair chain.

Automotive Alignment Technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight. They also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service.

• Perform wheel alignments using equipment; adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles
• Complete state inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other automotive services as required
• Assist with additional vehicle maintenance tasks as directed

Requirements: 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the United States; 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training. State inspection license preferred.

Active position; must stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repetitive movements; may regularly lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
