Warehouse Specialist - Oakland Ace Hardware
Starting Pay: $15.92 - $18.00 per hour
About the Role
Warehouse specialists play a vital role in creating a world class customer experience both in-store and at our customers' homes. You'll help customers in-aisle by guiding customers to products, loading purchases into vehicles, assembling merchandise, stocking aisles, and keeping our warehouse organized. You'll delight our customers by delivering items directly to their homes or providing one of our home services.
What You'll Do
* Provide outstanding customer service by personally guiding customers to products and assisting with loading purchases into their vehicles
* Receive, organize, and stock incoming merchandise to maintain a clean, efficient warehouse
* Downstock shelves and ensure the sales floor is fully stocked and well merchandised
* Assemble products such as grills, wheelbarrows, and outdoor equipment
* Assist with local deliveries and home services, representing our brand with professionalism
* Maintain accurate inventory through counting, organizing, and tracking stock
* Help keep the warehouse and store clean, safe, and operating smoothly

What We're Looking For
* Basic computer skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
* Willingness to learn our products and services
* Ability to climb ladders and lift 80+ pounds
* Ability to work quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment
* Familiar using small tools and hardware for product assembly
* Weekend availability
* High School diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing)
* Valid driver's license required
* Prior warehouse, retail, or customer service experience preferred
