Warehouse Specialist – Oakland Ace Hardware

Starting Pay: $15.49 – $18.00 per hour

As part of our warehouse team, you’ll provide hands‑on service both inside the store and out in the community. You’ll help customers in‑aisle by locating products, loading purchases into vehicles, assembling merchandise, and keeping our warehouse organized and fully stocked. You may also deliver items directly to customers’ homes or assist with home services, ensuring every interaction reflects Oakland Ace Hardware’s reputation as the most helpful hardware store on the planet.

• Walk customers to products and assist with loading items into vehicles
• Assemble merchandise and prepare orders for pickup or delivery
• Downstock items from shelves and maintain product displays
• Receive and organize incoming deliveries in the warehouse
• Count inventory and keep storage areas neat and safe
• Deliver merchandise and perform select home services for customers
• Assist with other store needs as assigned

• Basic computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Willingness to learn our products and services
• Ability to climb ladders and lift 80+ pounds
• Ability to work quickly and safely in a fast‑paced environment
• Skilled in using small tools and hardware for product assembly
• Weekend availability
• High School diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Prior warehouse, retail, or customer service experience preferred

The posted pay range is the starting range for this position. Final compensation is determined based on education, training, and experience. Please note that pay estimates on external job boards may not reflect our actual pay range.
