Responsibilities
Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Deliver superior quality service, identifying and understanding the clients' financial needs. Cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with courteous conversation, conducting both complex and standardized transactions, and uncovering needs. Perform more complex transactions with assistance as necessary.Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to make banking easier and enhance their service experience.Support team sales process by participating in client outreach through outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities by fulfilling the need or referring the client to the appropriate branch team members or specialist.Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to ensure we seamlessly deliver Truist expertise and solutions for our clients' unique needs.Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.Commit to advancing individual and product knowledge to better serve consumer and business clients by attending sales, service and product knowledge meetings and all applicable training classes and web-based learning.Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies. Stay informed of all changes in policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current guidelines.Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services to clients and prospects. Handle proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent educationTwo years of teller or cash handling or client service experienceSix months of client relationship building or sales experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospectsAbility to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automationAbility to multi-task under time constraintsDemonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software productsAbility to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required, including temporary assignment or locale changesAbility to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be includedPreferred Qualifications:
One year of client relationship building or sales experienceKnowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management and loss preventionExperience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship buildingGeneral understanding of bank operations, policies and proceduresCompensation
Part Time Universal Banker
The hourly base salary for this position is $22.00/hour-$25.00/hour.
Additional incentive pay is available for this position.
