China Middle School is a grades 5-8 school that is dedicated to supporting the whole child in his/her learning and development. Teachers differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, and the school provides supports for students' behavioral, social and emotional development. The school counselor at China Middle School will work to support the social and emotional needs of our students.
The School Counselor will plan proactive programs, as well as react to the day-to-day issues that arise. In addition to direct work with students, the China Middle School school counselor case manage our students with 504 plans and work with the building administration on items like truancy and state assessment.
