Job Description
R+L Carriers has immediate opportunities for CLASS B Truck Drivers at our Oakland, CA Service Center. As a City P&D Driver you will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight and returning to the terminal daily. This includes multiple stops per working day, working with scan equipment, working directly with customers, and completing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack and/or dolly.

• Perform city delivery and pickup of freight and return to the terminal daily.
• Make multiple stops per working day and work with scan equipment.
• Interact with customers professionally and provide good customer service.
• Complete liftgate deliveries as needed using an electric pallet jack and/or dolly.

• CDL Class B License
• Good driving record / MVR
• Must be capable of delivering excellent customer service
• Must have strong problem-solving skills
• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty

• Experience delivering in a commercial vehicle in cities and small towns
• Experience using a lift gate and pallet jack
