We’re looking for a dependable and dedicated Class C Driver to join our Oakland team. In this role, you’ll be essential in ensuring accurate, on‑time deliveries to our valued customers—helping us maintain the trust and satisfaction we’re known for.

• Operate a bobtail flatbed truck with lift gate safely and efficiently.
• Deliver materials along established routes.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to prepare, load, and secure orders.
• Provide professional, friendly service at each delivery stop.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and timeliness.

• Operate delivery vehicles safely, obeying traffic laws and weight limits.
• Oversee safe loading and ensure accurate orders and high‑quality products.
• Supervise unloading operations for accurate and safe delivery of materials.

• Ensure punctual deliveries through efficient route planning.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delays.

• Adapt to specific customer requirements, utilizing specialized equipment if needed.
• Assist in warehouse duties, including loading and unloading materials as assigned.

• Maintain clear and constant communication with dispatch for on‑call assignments.
• Provide responsive on‑call gwo‑service for urgent deliveries.
• Provide accurate distribution and placement of building materials as per orders.
• Ensure appropriate paperwork accompanies orders and use scanning equipment for pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers and address their needs promptly.

• Adhere to regulatory and company safety directives during deliveries.
• Handle materials physically and oversee safe unloading and stocking at job sites.
• Maintain a clean work environment, both within the vehicle and at delivery sites.
• Inspect the vehicle regularly to ensure proper functioning of all equipment.
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Proficient in basic mathematical operations up to four digits.
• Capable of organizing items by size, alphabetical order, or numerical sequence.
• Understand traffic regulations and commit to safe driving practices.
• Familiar with protocol for handling accidents in the warehouse or while driving.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for task prioritization.
• Basic proficiency with standard office equipment (copiers, fax machines) and quick learning of new systems.
• Proficient in email communication and inventory management software.
• Fluent in English with effective reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Eligible to obtain certification for safe forklift and man lift operation.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating required competencies.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, plumbing, or forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable driving experience.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
