ResponsibilitiesAn SP+ Shuttle Driver DOT will be responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses, transporting passengers, ensuring efficient, safe, and seamless travel.
What You’ll Do- Go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise, including answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring each interaction is positive.
- Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
- Be present at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license at all times while on duty.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Report any known accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc., to the garage office.
- Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
- Have thorough knowledge of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways to assist customers.
- Assist customers with luggage and other items at airport locations.
- Assist the Facility Manager with additional duties as needed.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Items below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
- Education/
Experience:
Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or equivalent combination. - License: Valid CDL Class A, B, or C with Passenger Endorsement; maintained per DOT regulations.
- DOT Medical Card: Medical Examiner’s Certificate required.
- Availability: Ability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends as required.

Skills:
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and memos; present information to customers and employees. - Mathematical
Skills:
Basic arithmetic operations with monetary units. - Appearance: Maintain neat, clean appearance and complete uniform at all times.
- Physical Demands: Stand, walk, use hands; occasionally sit, climb, balance; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Salary Range: $33.00–$37.00 per hour
