Non-CDL Van Driver – Oakland

Zum is seeking responsible and safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Non-CDL Van Drivers for our school transportation services. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working with students and want to make a positive impact in their community.

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities in a van or small vehicle
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
• Ensure student safety during loading, unloading, and while in transit
• Adhere to all traffic laws and local rules
• Manage student behavior and maintain discipline in the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to supervisors

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• 3 years of driving experience
• Minimum age of 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 50 lbs

• Ongoing support from experienced staff and supervisors

• Split Shift (AM/PM) - Daily
