Job Description & How to Apply Below

Job Description

We are seeking a hands‑on Software Engineer to build, enhance, and support backend integrations and system workflows. The ideal candidate has written code in SQL (Oracle preferred), Python (intermediate+), Java (intermediate+), and Unix/Linux shell scripting (medium/advanced to advanced), and has experience building software that connects to databases, calls web services, and performs debugging/analysis with clear reporting. You’ll own a "product" or "system" area end‑to‑end—driving reliability, maintainability, and continuous improvement.

What

You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Design, develop, and maintain backend programs and scripts that run on Unix/Linux (batch jobs, schedulers, automation, operational tooling).

Write and maintain SQL to support application features and operational needs (queries, transactions, stored procedures/scripts as needed).

Build and consume web service calls (REST/SOAP where applicable), including authentication, retries, and error handling.

Develop and enhance services and utilities using Python and Java, focusing on readable, supportable, production‑quality code.

Perform debugging and root‑cause analysis across logs, code, and data; produce clear analysis and reporting for stakeholders.

Improve system reliability: monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and operational runbooks.

Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (product, ops, QA, upstream/downstream teams) to deliver changes safely.

Manage or co‑manage a product/system lifecycle: prioritizing work, coordinating releases, and ensuring stable operations.

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal‑opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
