Senior Software Engineer - Pricing & Buying Experience
Fivetran has built data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. The Senior Software Engineer will join our Core Experience group in the Novi Sad office to deliver highly valuable features for pricing and buying, improve architecture, and maintain reliable operation of the service.
Technologies You’ll Use- Java

- Implement functionality in the Core Experience area of product (Pricing and Buying)
- Contribute to feature enhancements and bug fixes
- Write well‑designed, testable code and optimize for performance
- Improve code test coverage and refactor for maintainability
- Follow up on incidents, write postmortems and prepare mitigation plans
- Work closely with teammates to achieve milestone goals, document work, and share information
- Strong Java coding, technical, and problem‑solving skills with production experience
- Experience with reliable distributed systems, high‑volume data management under strict SLAs
- Write well‑structured Java code following best practices
- Design software to satisfy project requirements
- Expertise with cloud platforms, APIs, and databases
- Ability to troubleshoot existing code
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
