- Flexible and calm when responding to day-to-day operational issues.
- Able to confidently use mobile devices, apps, and basic computer programs to document work and communicate with staff.
- Motivated by public service and community impact.
What you will typically be responsible for:
- Visiting food program sites to observe meal service and ensure compliance with program requirements.
- Verifying meal deliveries and confirming accurate meal counts with vendors and site staff.
- Monitoring site operations and identifying issues related to food service, access, or safety.
- Maintaining daily logs and completing required reports using mobile and computer-based systems.
- Supporting site staff through training, guidance, and technical assistance as needed.
- Communicating concerns or requested changes to City supervisors in a timely manner.
- Traveling between sites by vehicle and assisting with meal pick-up or delivery when necessary.
