Headquartered in Indianapolis, Fleet Services by Cox Automotive has grown to become one of the largest fleet maintenance companies in the country. Fleet Services is the leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, offering mobile on-site fleet service for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. What you will do

We are offering an opportunity to enroll in the Flee Tec Academy, a paid educational program that leads to a path to become a full-time Diesel Technician. The program is designed to help people enter the diesel maintenance field and provides free education on the fundamentals of diesel engines and how to fix trucks, along with a set of hand tools.

Participants may receive a stipend and a weekly paycheck during the program, and after completion of the classroom phase, will be paired with a Lead Technician for hands-on training and offered a full-time position with Fleet Services.

Program details include four weeks of full-time classroom training with travel expenses, hotel accommodations, and meals provided. After the initial classroom phase, participants may continue with ongoing classroom study as needed to develop their skills, with a multi-year program leading to the title of Diesel Technician. Tools are included to get started.

Paid outcomes include progression through training and a potential full-time role as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in the participant’s market. Technicians are assigned a state-of-the-art vehicle to perform preventative maintenance and general repairs at customer locations, with a focus on on-site work rather than emergency roadside repairs.
