What You’ll Be Doing

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping critical life-safety systems operating at the highest standard:

  • Service, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with code and manufacturer standards
  • Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs
  • Program and commission fire alarm systems
  • Identify code issues, deficiencies, and non-conformance items
  • Accurately complete service tickets, inspection reports, and documentation
  • Support installations, tenant improvements (TI’s), retrofits, and system upgrades as needed
  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure fast and effective service response
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while working independently in the field
Experience & Technical Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience
  • Strong programming and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience with service, installation, TI’s, and system retrofits
  • Exposure to CCTV, intrusion systems, and access control is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and technical documentation
  • Proficiency with test equipment (multimeters, analyzers, commissioning devices)
Certifications & Credentials
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High School Diploma
