Technician - Level 2

Overview

Technician – Perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on heavy equipment and specialty lines.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of diesel and specialty equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems of generators, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas units.
• Effectively use tools of the trade; follow safety procedures and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Communicate progress and issues to team leaders and coordinate work to minimize downtime.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred.
• 5+ years of technician experience with diesel equipment or heavy equipment; strong preference for experience with large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities in a safety‑focused environment.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. Work indoors and outdoors as required.
