Security Officer II

St. Paul's Towers Retirement Community

Schedule: 11p-7a, Monday-Friday (Full-Time Benefited Position)

Pay Range: $26.00-$28.00

Provides security services for residents and employees of the organization. Protects from and responds to fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by performing the following duties. Has additional responsibilities to train security staff and be sure other command center staff is aware of emergency procedures. Less than 3 points meeting company driving standards to be an authorized driver of company vehicles.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability write simple correspondence

• First Aid certificate
• CPR certificate
• Class C California driver's license

• 1 year certificate from college or technical school

Not required.

The actual compensation offered will depend on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, training, education, and licensure/certifications (as applicable).
