Position Summary:

This role is more than just a LINE COOK; it’s an opportunity to join a family and act as a brand ambassador. Take our patrons on a culinary adventure through education and quality customer service, ensuring they have a positive experience. You will be an extension of our brand.

The LINE COOK is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to our standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be a team player and foster a healthy, warm atmosphere with your team
• Cook all menu items according to standards set by the Executive Chef
• Prepare ingredients and portions prior to service
• Stock and maintain sufficient food levels at line stations for smooth service
• Store delivered goods appropriately following safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
• Communicate clearly with kitchen team members
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings
• Contribute to team effort and accomplish related results
• Fill in for absent staff as needed
• Comply with health and safety codes

Qualifications:

• Team player with a positive attitude
• Positive interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and diverse environment
• Ability to acquire a California Food Handler’s license and Sexual Harassment certifications within 2 weeks of hiring
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Line cook experience is a plus
