This is a contract, on-site Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse position located in Oakland, CA. The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality and compassionate care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, managing medical equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role requires effective communication with patients and families, delivering education and support as part of a patient-focused approach.

• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making in an ICU setting.
• Proficiency in monitoring and operating advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators and cardiac monitors.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills to ensure accurate patient records and prioritize care needs.
• Valid RN license in the state of California and current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Experience in working in high-pressure, critical care environments is essential; a minimum of two years of ICU nursing experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
