Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California requiring an active CA RN license and recent L&D experience.

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Handles high-risk OB cases
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system
• Work involves care for laboring mothers including high-risk obstetric patients
• Assignment may not exceed two years without a mandatory 90-day break
• Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate
• Submission requires last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth
• COVID and flu vaccinations may be required

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year full-time recent (within the last 3 years) L&D experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
• High-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Five or more years of recent L&D experience preferred
• Active licenses and certifications required at time of consideration; pending not accepted
