Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California with night shifts and current CA RN license required.

Job Details

• Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting,

• Cares for high-risk labor and delivery patients,

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,

• Uses Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of application,

• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• Current certifications required:
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP),

• Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field,

• Preferred:
Over 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years,

• Preferred:
At least 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Responsible for nursing care of laboring mothers, including high-risk cases,

• Must provide last four digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration,

• Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate,

• Assignment is limited to a maximum tenure per HR policy, with requirements for breaks in between extended assignments,

• COVID and Flu vaccination may be required,
