Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in California requiring a CA RN license and advanced cardiac and pediatric critical care experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting,

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12 hours per shift,

• Assignment is for 13 weeks,

• Care for critically ill pediatric patients with a range of acute conditions,

• Utilizes the Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration,

• Minimum 5 years of direct PICU experience without floating,

• Minimum 5 years of cardiac experience,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• Current BLS and PALS certifications required,

• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred,

• Responsibilities include advanced pediatric intensive care nursing with a focus on cardiac patients,

• All required licenses and certifications must be current and active at time of consideration,

• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same rate,

• Assignment cannot exceed two consecutive years due to tenure policy,
