Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse – Contract
Position Type: Temporary / Contract
Specialty: Adult ICU
Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts
Assignment Duration: Approximately 13 weeks
Location: Oakland, CA
Base Pay Range$70.00/hr - $80.00/hr
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have recent ICU experience and be comfortable managing complex, critically ill adult patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond to life-threatening situations
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced life support interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards
- Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- 2 or more years of recent ICU experience
- CCRN certification
- Experience with Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent therapies
