Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and recent critical care experience for a 13-week assignment.

Job Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting,

• Day shift position from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts,

• Contract assignment length is 13 weeks,

• Patients require advanced monitoring, with potential exposure to dialysis or SLED procedures,

• Uses Epic EMR for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license at the time of consideration,

• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU experience,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth must be provided,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and CCRN certification preferred,

• Two years of recent ICU experience preferred,

• NIH Stroke Scale certification and dialysis/SLED experience preferred,

• Role involves providing high acuity care to critically ill patients,

• Candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary ICU team,

• Compliance with hospital dress code required,

• Local and travel rates are the same and local candidates are accepted,

• Assignments cannot exceed two years without a 90-day break per HR policy,

• COVID and flu vaccination may be required depending on current regulations,
