Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN in California with an active CA license and ACLS certification for a 13-week day shift contract.

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
• 13-week travel assignment
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Responsibilities include providing critical care in the ICU to a diverse patient population
• Two years of recent ICU experience is strongly preferred
• No difference in rate for local candidates
• Active licenses and certifications must be in hand at time of consideration; pending documentation is not accepted

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent full-time ICU RN experience within the past 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Experience with dialysis or SLED preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
