Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and strong critical care skills for a 12-hour night shift assignment.

Job Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting,

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12 hours per shift,

• 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract,

• EMR system:
Epic experience preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU nursing experience,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS,

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred,

• Two years of recent ICU experience preferred,

• NIH Stroke Scale and CCRN certification preferred,

• Experience with dialysis or SLED preferred,

• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• ICU nurses provide critical care for patients with severe, life-threatening illnesses and injuries,

• Epic EMR experience is valued,

• Accepted candidates may be local or travel nurses, as rate is the same for both,

• Compliance with COVID and flu vaccination policies may be required,

• Dress code and holidays coverage will follow unit guidelines,

• Assignment tenure may not exceed two years without a 90-day break as per health system policy,
