Casa CHE Community Outreach Volunteer
La Clínica de La Raza is a community-based health center committed to providing culturally appropriate, high-quality, and accessible health care to the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Project Duration: September 1st, 2021 - November 30th, 2021.
Responsibilities- Participate in weekend and evening outreach events.
- Door knock and canvass in zip codes 94601 and 94606.
- Make phone calls to La Clínica patients and community members to provide information and help schedule Covid‑19 vaccine appointments.
- Serve as the front greeter for Casa CHE for individuals coming in to ask for appointments and services.
- Engage patients and community members on social media to share information.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends or evenings.
- Fluent in Spanish preferred.
- Some experience with social media engagement.
Volunteers may receive stipends based on available grant funding.
