Overview
Job Description. $22 per hour (minimum $21.00 – maximum $22.00). Our wage ranges are based on paying competitively for our company’s size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation that may also include incentives, benefits, and other opportunities ividual pay decisions are based on factors including qualifications, experience, skillset, geography, and internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the current wage range is listed above.
Job SummaryResponsible for assembly of new generation containers and repairing of multi-generational containers on company branded containers as assigned.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision)
- Ensure Quality Standards are met
- Move materials using hand cart and/or pallet jack
- Basic computer skills
- Pressure washing
- Shop clean up
- Able to complete forklift training and safely operate a forklift
- Perform all welding tasks with a variety of equipment
- Weld plastic (roofs/panels)
- Perform all cutting operations utilizing all standard shop equipment
- Fabricate from a drawing and/or verbal instructions with limited supervision
- Safely rig materials for lifting
- Adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner including OSHA adherence
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include:
Sup – Container Repair - Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)
- Essential Skills, Abilities and Example Behaviors:
Deliver quality results, act with integrity, collaborate, demonstrate sound judgment, solve problems, listen, take initiative, write proficiently, speak competently, question, be professional - Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years’ experience in construction, building trades or assembly; ability to read and understand English for OSHA safety regulations; valid driver’s license with clean driving record; math skills for American weight measurement, volume and distance; or equivalent education/experience
