Laboratory Technician

Jetty Extracts is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team at our production facility in Oakland. If you are passionate about our industry, and a good person with an open mind and a great work ethic, we want to hear from you! Relevant experience is preferred but not necessary.

Laboratory Technician

Reports to: Production Manager

Job Type :
Full-time (32 - 40 hours per week)

Pay : $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities :

• Perform a variety of lab processes, which can include but are not limited to various aspects of: extraction, hydrocarbon post-processing, winterization, filtration, rotary evaporation, and distillation
• Cleaning and preventive maintenance of all equipment, tools, and work areas
• Escalate any technical issues related to processes or equipment to their Supervisor
• Maintain safe and efficient production, working with delicate and expensive equipment
• Maintain accurate records for all production phase steps, using paper and electronic logs, METRC track-and-trace, and Odoo ERP
• Meet or exceed production goals with few to no errors

Qualifications :

• 2+ years of experience in a laboratory or production environment.
• Keen ability to follow instructions and receive feedback.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Must be able to lift more than 40lbs at a time
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
