The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch office, ensuring the effective delivery of housing counseling services, compliance with regulatory and funding requirements, and achievement of program goals. This role provides leadership to staff, manages community partnerships, ensures client service excellence, and supports the agency’s mission of promoting housing stability, financial literacy, and community development.
Key Responsibilities- Operations & Administration:
Manage daily branch operations and service delivery programs - Ensure compliance with HUD, state, and local housing regulations and program guidelines
- Oversee documentation, reporting, data collection, and case management systems
- Monitor branch budgets, expenses, and funding utilization
- Ensure operational efficiency and service quality standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Housing Studies, Community Development, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in housing counseling, nonprofit management, social services, or community development
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of housing programs, fair housing laws, HUD guidelines, and community resources
- Experience managing grants, compliance reporting, and funded programs
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong ethical standards and client advocacy mindset
- Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work with diverse populations and vulnerable communities
