Director of Engagement

Overview

The Director of Engagement helps lead the foundation's strategy for informing and engaging the audiences that are vital to the foundation’s mission. The Engagement Team operates as part of the larger Communications and Engagement Team s leadership role is charged with overseeing all editorial content and guiding the foundation’s print and digital outreach efforts across owned platforms including the website, social media, email programs, and virtual events.

• Oversee all editorial content, ensuring that research and storytelling products are trusted, accessible, timely, and relevant.
• Lead the evolution of the foundation’s outreach efforts across print and digital channels, including owned platforms such as the website, social media, email programs, and virtual events.
• Use data to guide decisions about changes in direction for engagement and communications strategies.
• Manage an enterprise that includes an in-house team of six direct reports and a network of freelancers and vendors.
• Report to and work closely with the Chief Communications Officer to guide the foundation’s overall brand and communications strategy.
