Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Manager, IT Procurement to drive IT strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier governance. This role leads high-impact initiatives across multiple spend categories, influencing key stakeholders, optimizing supplier relationships, and delivering measurable results in cost savings, diversity spend, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do- Lead portfolio and category strategies to optimize cost, service, and supplier performance.
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle, from creation to award, with accountability for major contracts ($500K–$10M).
- Manage supplier relationships through SLAs and performance governance.
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies for complex sourcing engagements.
- Drive spend analysis, benchmarking, business cases, and diversity/green supply chain initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of Sourcing Supervisors, Category Leaders, and Specialists.
- Partner cross-functionally to streamline sourcing and procurement processes for maximum value.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in sourcing, procurement, or related industries.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- MBA or advanced degree.
- 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Project management and utility industry experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in category management and procurement transformation.
