Overview
Under the general direction of the Assistant Dean and CFAO, the CHASS Facilities Manager is responsible for managing operations of the CHASS Facilities Management (CFM) department which provides space planning, facilities equipment and event management related support services to all CHASS units to assist them with instructional, research, creative, exhibition and performance work. CFM facilitates and coordinates CHASS safety and security.
The primary services this position oversees include: space planning, event management, facilities and equipment maintenance, safety/security and access control coordination, and project coordination and support. CFM provides service to CHASS facilities, including general academic buildings (Humanities, Psychology, Watkins, Sproul, Interdisciplinary, etc.) and approximately 211,000 SF of specialized classrooms, studios, and labs.

- Required to hold a valid driver’s license, have a driving record in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
- Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position
- Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for staff
The full salary range for the Facilities Manager is $103,100 - $196,300 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
