Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the Associate Director for Residential Education, the Assistant Director for Leadership and Curricular Engagement is responsible for the developmentment, implementation, and assists with the assessment of the curricular approach in all residential facilities. The Assistant Directoris responsible for the implementation and management of large-scale curricular strategies with an emphasis on initiatives that serves to enhance understanding and respect for the residential and Highlander community.

This position serves as a resource for the residential students and campus partners and supervises the Residential Education Program Advisors (PAs) student staff team (approximately 19-28) as well as Assistant Resident Directors (ARDs) senior student staff team (approximately
3). Additionally, this position serves as the Executive Advisorto the Housing student organizations including but not limited to Residence Hall Association, National Residence Hall Honorary and Campus Apartment Resident Association.

Compensation

The full salary range for the Assistant Director of Residential Education is $68.500 - $121,900 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $75,000.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Eligibility

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
