Janitor position to wash/clean, mop, vacuum, wipe down and dust as explained by Corps Officers to keep corps building, building surrounding, parking lot and parking lot surroundings clean. Must have basic English communication ability.

The Custodial / Repair position will perform basic repair functions in our shelter rooms, clean rooms as needed, wash change linen as required, perform light repair work in and around the Garden St shelter facility.

• Cleaning of classrooms, offices, and bathrooms
• Perform necessary duties as needed
• Sweeping and mopping of floors, removal of trash
• Cleaning of windows

• High School Diploma
• Ability to speak Basic English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong ability to utilize a high level of time management and handling multiple tasks
• Perform assigned task as determined by supervisor.

• Must be 21 years or older.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis
• Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects
  
  Ability to reach overhead
• Ability to lift - up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal information
