Are you a seasoned attorney with a passion for civil litigation and public entity defense? We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our team, specializing in Civil Litigation with a focus on Public Entity Defense. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases and make a significant impact on the community.

• Handle all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, attending court hearings, and participating in trials.
• Defend public entities, including municipalities, law enforcement agencies, and other governmental bodies, in a variety of civil litigation matters.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to public entities on issues such as constitutional law, public records law, and employment law.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advice.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation with a focus on public entity defense.
• Demonstrated experience in municipal law and law enforcement defense.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong advocacy skills in both written submissions and oral argument.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
