3712-Compliance Data Analyst
Location:
Oakland, CA
Pay Rate: $35 - $48
Contract Duration: 5 months
Compliance and Risk Consultant conducts research, data analysis, data entry, and reporting in support of data response strategy and Electric Compliance business decision making. Responsibilities include maintaining process documentation, participating in business process improvement activities, technology administration, and performing data quality checks.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure Electric Compliance data requests are complete, accurate, consistent, and verifiable in accordance with SD process.
- Perform data request intake, logging, and assignment; enter new requests into the Compliance tracker consistently and accurately and ensure they are assigned in a timely fashion.
- Actively manage and update databases containing relevant data response information.
- Execute Support Desk functions: maintain database quality checks, track due dates and status, produce final responses.
- Identify process gaps or data quality issues and recommend solutions.
- Execute quality and timely prior data response research; seek feedback to improve results over time.
- Work independently and collaboratively to improve search capabilities.
- Communicate with peers inside and outside the department exchanging ideas or gathering information.
- Understand business needs, develop new reports, and perform custom/ad-hoc reporting independently; present findings to various audiences.
Minimum:
- Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
- 2 years of related work experience as a Data Analyst.

- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications, Tableau, Power Apps, Power
BI). - Auditing or quality management experience, including quality assurance or quality control.
- Comfortable with speaking up and communicating data quality issues or process gaps to stakeholders.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate (oral and written) with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to problem solve and implement solutions.
- Ability to consistently follow processes and make process improvements.
- Experience with Records Management, Versioning, SharePoint Online.
