Salesforce Release Engineer

Job Description

Release Engineer role responsible for managing Salesforce release activities, coordinating large‑scale transformation projects, and ensuring smooth deployment of releases across environments.

• Perform Salesforce release activities such as release planning, prioritization, configuration, and deployment.
• Define scope, objectives, and timelines for releases.
• Prioritize features based on business needs.
• Ensure releases are configured to meet business needs.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct quality assurance testing including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Install software on target environments.
• Set up, configure, and perform manual steps.
• Initiate process improvements as needed.
• Report on process effectiveness to senior management.

• 6-8+ years of experience in release management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in all release management activities.
• Successful execution of large‑scale transformation projects as Release Manager.
• Planning, testing, configuring, and deployment experience.
• Experience with Copado or other RM and deployment tools.
• Managed multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to work both as a team member and independently on complex tasks, to maintain project timelines and deliver on commitments.

$90,000 - $130,000 per year.
