Position: F&B Concessions Supervisor (Part-Time)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public facilities, is seeking a qualified Part Time F&B Concessions Supervisor for the Oakland Arena and Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. This position reports to the F&B Manager and supports the overall Food & Beverage operation by ensuring efficient concession service, high product quality, and exceptional guest experiences.

Hourly Rate: $27.00 and up

SUMMARY

The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of concession stands and food service areas within the venue. This role ensures efficient service, high-quality product delivery, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and a positive customer experience. The Concessions Supervisor leads and motivates concession staff, manages inventory and cash controls, and contributes to the overall profitability and success of the Food & Beverage department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise daily concession stand operations during events, including setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Lead, train, schedule, and motivate concession staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and health department regulations.
  • Monitor product quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and waste control.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, point-of-sale systems, and reconcile sales reports as required.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with staffing plans and labor control to meet operational and financial goals.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding operational needs, staffing issues, and event execution.
  • Support special events, premium service areas, and large-scale event operations as assigned.
  • Ensure adherence to Legends Global policies, procedures, and service standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
  • Strong customer service mindset with leadership capability.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of food & beverage, concessions, or hospitality supervisory experience required.
  • Experience in high-volume or event-based food service operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet event-driven deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest and staff issues effectively.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating POS systems and handling food service equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
