The Occupational Health EMR Compliance Specialist serves a dual function within UCR's Occupational Health Program, providing leadership and coordination in two critical areas: electronic medical record (EMR) compliance and the Campus Animal Occupational Health Program. The role requires close collaboration with Environmental Health Safety and Risk Management (EHSRM) leadership, Information Technology, Occupational Health providers, Researchers, Biosafety Staff, Student Health Services, and third-party vendors to ensure that programs are compliant with federal, state, and UC policies, including HIPAA, CMIA, Cal/OSHA, and IACUC requirements.
