COMPENSATION:Staff Therapist I: $30.82/hour or $31.44/hour bilingual
Staff Therapist II: $68,679.97 or $69,879.97 bilingual
Licensed Clinician: $80,142.70 or $81,342.70 bilingual

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and/or the Director of Clinical Services, the Staff Therapist is primarily responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy to clients who meet program criteria. The Staff Therapist will work closely with all necessary partners including school officials, county social workers, parents and team members, consulting and collaborating on client’s progress and treatment plans.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct Services
- Conducts psychological evaluations of assigned clients; determines appropriate treatment planning;
- Conducts clinical interviews with clients and other interested persons to develop information pertinent to diagnosis and treatment.
- Interviews clients and families to gather necessary reporting data; prepares mental health assessment for initial diagnosis; and participates in developing psychological treatment programs and case planning for clients in the CCBHC.
- Provides individual and group psychotherapy in alignment with monthly/annual goals.
- Works to engage families into treatment; is available to provide services in the clinic, client homes, and community settings including in evenings, as indicated by client needs.
- Meets with clients (and families) for regular therapeutic interviews; guides the client (and family) in understanding his/her illness and contributing personal, social, and economic factors; assists client (and family) in developing measurable and achievable goals;
- Advises client/family on community resources to support needs arising; makes referrals and other arrangements as necessary.
- Connects participants and provides “warm hand-offs” to other community-based providers to the greatest extent possible, including following up on both internal and external referrals.
- Facilitates holistic and behavioral workshops in the community for the community/clients to engage the community around rising themes and needs.
Documentation and Compliance
- Complies fully with agency policies and procedures and maintains HIPPA guidelines.
- Submits records of service information and tracking consistent with program policies using electronic health records systems and agency systems.
- Follows appropriate charting and documentation requirements and agency regulations in a timely manner and follows all database policies and procedures.
- Provides input and feedback on potential related projects/programs, as appropriate.
- Supports agency-wide Quality Improvement efforts.
Clinical Service
- Works effectively with staff and other health professionals to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and improve patient care.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with practice standards and regulations applicable to the area of specialty.
- Is competent to access facility information systems to retrieve and utilize pertinent information for the provision of patient care or in the performance of other job-related responsibilities.
- Provides culturally informed and relevant education to clients/ family with an age-appropriate lens, is aware of various environmental and psychological impacts of societal, cultural and academic readiness.
