Qualifications
  • Requirements:
    • Staff must have maintained Level 2 for at least two years when applying.
    • Meets expectations or higher on the most recent annual review
    • Not on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) within the 6 months prior to application
    • Training/Mentoring New Employees
      • Completed training with the manager on onboarding new staff.
      • The manager has signed off that staff can oversee the completion of the onboarding checklist for new staff members.
    • Achieve and maintain at least one of the criteria listed below:
      • BLS Instructor
        • Criteria Cap: 2 total
        • Evidence: BLS Instructor Certification & teaches two classes annually
      • Athena Content Expert
        • Criteria Cap: 2 Nurses per location. 2 NCCs Total
        • Evidence:
          Completion of Advanced Curriculum within Athena’s learning portal.
      • Project Lead
        • Criteria Cap: 1 per program
        • Evidence:
          • Takes staff lead on an initiative or grant
          • Responsible for maintaining tracking tools, acts as a resource for questions, and assists with reporting.
          • Must act in this role for at least one initiative or grant per year. Programs may extend across multiple years.
