Travel Occupational Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist with neuro and acute care expertise for an inpatient rehabilitation program, BLS and CA license required.

Job Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation setting in a hospital,

• Day shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday, 8:00am to 4:30pm,

• Work with a complex patient population including CVA, brain injury, spinal cord injury, cancer rehab, and complex orthopedic cases,

• Large multidisciplinary rehabilitation team,

• Epic charting experience preferred,

Job Requirements

• Current CA Occupational Therapist license required if applicable,

• Active BLS certification from AHA required,

• Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation,

• Demonstrated neuro rehabilitation experience required,

• Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of acceptance,

• Ability to provide 7 years of work history for verification,

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing specialized occupational therapy interventions for neuro and complex rehab patients,

• Collaboration with a large, supportive rehabilitation team,

• Completion of orientation modules via e-learning required,

• Return staff must have at least 1 year since previous assignment to be eligible,

• Only one holiday off will be approved for requested time off,

• Candidates must adhere to a 50 mile radius rule,
