Ultrasound Technician

The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.

• A certification from an accredited ultrasound school
• One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a high‑performing hospital team in Oakland, CA. This role covers General Radiology and Cardiology, with a strong emphasis on Vascular Ultrasound. OB scanning is light at this site, with more OB coverage handled at the Summit campus.

• $1,280 taxable income
• $1,659 stipends

• BLS (AHA)
• ARDMS – AB
• ARDMS – RVT

• 1+ year full‑time hospital Ultrasound Tech experience
• EPIC charting experience

• Monday–Friday
• Weekends as needed

• General & Vascular Ultrasound
• Heavy Vascular workload
• Light OB at this site (majority OB performed at Summit)

• Highly reputable Bay Area hospital

• Consistent weekday schedule
