Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California with night shifts and current CA RN license required.

Job Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting,

• Care for obstetric and high-risk OB patients,

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,

• 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment,

• Uses Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery experience,

• Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required,

• Preferred: BSN degree or related field,

• Preferred:
Five or more years of recent (within the last 2 years) L&D experience,

• Preferred:
At least 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years,

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred,

• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include the full spectrum of inpatient L&D nursing care,

• High-risk OB experience is preferred,

• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending credentials are not accepted,

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,

• Traveler may not exceed two consecutive years of assignment without a 90-day break as per HR tenure policy,
