Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California requiring a valid CA RN license and NRP certification.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit,

• Care for obstetric patients including high-risk deliveries,

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts,

• 13-week contract assignment,

• Uses Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration,

• Current BLS and NRP certifications required,

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,

• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience required,

• Preferred:
Five or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience and one year of recent high-risk OB experience,

• All licenses and certifications must be active; pending are not accepted,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for laboring mothers and high-risk OB patients,

• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and DOB for consideration,

• Local candidates accepted; pay is the same as travel rate,

• Dress code and team structure details will be provided during the onboarding process,

• Travelers may not exceed two years of continuous or cumulative assignment without a 90-day break,
